Leeds City Council has proposed a 3.99% rise in council tax for all wards from April 2020.


But some towns and villages in Leeds pay an extra surcharge on top of what is owed to the council, police and fire - this is called a parish 'precept'. These will be the 10 most expensive areas in Leeds for council tax if the 3.99% rise goes ahead in April. How does your area compare?

Council tax is set to rise to 1,757.29 in April 2020


9. Shadwell
