It is wonderful to be able to say that the door to the Glasshouse is well and truly open to welcome you, and your creativity, back. We have all experienced a strange chapter in our history and as it continues... it seems to me that a little mindfulness and creativity is the order of the day, judging by the amount of emails and texts that I am receiving.
I hope that you have all stayed well, healthy and sane? I look forward, very much, to the craic I know we are going to share, back and forth, across the work bench over the coming weeks and months.
So, without further ado, I can confirm that the first weekend availability is 25th/26th/27th September.
Unfortunately, there are restrictions and requirements as you will no doubt be expecting.
I am able only to offer one-to-one sessions and 'bubble' group workshops at the moment. Once restrictions are lifted further, more of the drop-in sessions will be added into the timetable.
For those amongst you who are still shielding, the take-out kit is a fab way to play with fused glass in your own home. Be it for yourself, a group, party or other gathering. Please get in touch if you would like further details.
The more confident amongst you who are happy, and able, to work under under your own steam, I'm in the studio every Friday and always welcome company.
I am offering morning and afternoon time slots.
The studio, and equipment, will be sanitised to ensure everyone's safety.
I would appreciate it if you could please provide, and wear, your own face coverings.
Please feel free to bring along your own refreshments.
You will each have your own, sanitised box of tools and equipment for use throughout your session. This box also contains anti bacterial wipes and gel.
As far as is practical and possible, I will decant accessory glass for your personal use and/or I will sanitise jars as we go.
Should you feel unwell and/or test positive with COVID prior to your session, please do cancel at the earliest opportunity. Rest assured that I will do the same.
Working together, we can minimise the risk of transmission.
Please may I say a huge thank you to those of you who left your bookings in place.
I will be touch over the coming weeks to confirm or, if need be, rearrange your dates. If you are in a position to confirm already, please do so.
As a small business, I do appreciate your support at this time. However, I do also understand that for some, your booking will no longer be financially feasible or, from a health point of view, safe. That's absolutely cool and I look forward to seeing you again at some point in the future when it is safe to do so.
As ever with Glasshouse bookings, each of you are individual and so therefore are your visits. I'm mindful of the anxiety and stress that the current climate has and continues to induce. I would love to provide you with a place and opportunity to switch off , zone out and just for a little while, forget about the world outside.
