An update to the message below sent yesterday regarding to the two females who were allegedly fundraising for a deaf school in Wetherby and were responsible for a burglary in the Wickham Avenue area have now been arrested and charged with the offence. They were located in the Tadcaster Area.
Just to make you aware of two females who are in the area claiming to be fundraising for a deaf school in the area. These females were both involved in a burglary in the Wickham Avenue area last week claiming to be fundraising for the same thing. Please see details below as per PCSO 527 Broadwell. This was sent to myself on Thursday:
Two girls that are going around the villages last seen in Micklefield today but were in Boston Spa yesterday on Wickham Avenue( crime reference *428245 refers)
The two females are purporting to collect funds to build another deaf school.
The taller and older female spoke for the shorter younger female as the shorter one was supposedly deaf and could not speak.
The taller one would ask for the shorter one if she could use the toilet (especially if the occupants were elderly) and she would then go into the bedrooms to steal jewellery etc
