Nestled in the picturesque village of Angram, Lou's Threads opened it's doors for the first time today to the general public. Angram, just 7 miles from Wetherby is the idyllic setting for Louise Hannington's new premises, offering a countryside feel, filled with inspiration.
Louise qualified in Art & Design at Harrogate College, specialising in dressmaking and soft furnishings. She has developed her Interior Design Skills, which included being awarded a diploma in Professional Curtain Making at the National Design Academy in Nottingham.
Louise acts as a complete interior design consultant providing inspirational ideas to create wonderful living spaces.
Lou’s Thread offers a wide range of bespoke services from interior design to make up, all lovingly handmade by Louise in her workroom. The interior design service is tailored to your needs; so whether you need help with one pair of interlined curtains, a Roman blind or help with a whole house project consisting of wallpaper, paint and fabrics Louise is there to assist.
A free initial consultation is offered, where everything is discussed including a budget figure; a ‘mood board’ will be created to help with a vision for the room. Louise likes to visit your home for the initial meeting so she can see the ambiance of the room, get a feel for your home environment and your full requirements. From there she will put samples together which can be discussed when visiting her design studio (preferably by appointment).
A full range of fabrics and furnishings are always there to be viewed and chosen.
